Hobart, Tasmania Part 2

There was no other better way to kick start a day with a hearty breakfast. But with Phin Zhe around, instead of dining in, we picked up some bread, pastry and coffee from one of the favourite breakfast spot in town, Jackman and McRoss.

**I was excited to grab an organic loaf for my boy.**

highly recommend the feta cheese tart from Jackman and McRoss

We drove one and a half hour to Port Arthur historic site, a former convict settlement, bought a bronze pass at $35/person and spent few hours at the UNESCO world heritage site.

little boy was busy chasing the birds while we enjoyed our breakfast

After that, we went for lunch at DOO-Lishus eaglehawk, which is not very far from the Port Arthur historic site. It is a campervan Car selling fish and chip at the car park of Pirates Bay Blowhole, Blowhole Road, Eaglehawk Neck.

what's for lunch?

the campervan

They have more than just fish and chip. And do note that they use rice bran oil for frying. Healthier?

I requested for a combo set because we wanted to try everything, so we had fish, prawn, squid, oyster and scallop. Not only that the seafood was fresh, they were cooked to perfection. It was so good that we went for second order.

On the way back to Hobart, we spotted this Murdunna Store selling fresh oyster. We bought a dozen. Later, we bought another dozen from Barilla oyster farm.

Then there was this Sorell Country Fresh Market selling fresh vegetables and fruits.
We also stopped by Sorell fruit farm.

But none of the fruit is in season

We tested some fruit spread and bought a bottle.

My boy was sound asleep when we reached Hobart. So we decided to go up to Mt Wellington. It is cold and windy all year long, so remember to bring warm jacket along.

That night, we had oyster and cheese for supper. They were so good that we could never get enough of them.
